Milk frothers - for your favourite frothy milk beverage

What is a milk frother

OK, cut out the wise cracks, this is a serious article!

This is a device that, well oddly enough, froths milk.

It maybe used for a bed time malty drink, perhaps to aerate a liquid other than milk, mix liquids or for us coffee lovers, froth milk so as to top an espresso turning into a cappuccino or similar.

There are many variations which can be divided into two groups ...

  1. Manual milk frothers, requiring a small amount of physical human effort / exertion.
  2. Electric milk frothers, which require next to no other effort other than holding the unit and switching it on and off when required.
